The CharacterStrong National Conference is a powerful & practical experience for any educator, counselor, or administrator. After delivering over 3,000 live Professional Development sessions and hosting over 25,000 educators at our regional conferences, we know what it takes to weave research, inspiration, and practical strategies together into a meaningful and engaging learning experience.

Dr. Jamil Zaki is a writer and advocate for numerous causes, including gender equality and youth leadership and student voice in education. She is currently a PhD student in the joint program in Sociology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Yale University. Prior to Yale, she was working in communications for the non-profit that operates Wikipedia. She received her B.A. from UC Berkeley, majoring in Development Studies and minoring in South Asian Studies and Creative Writing. She has delivered speeches at venues including TED and the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Day 1 will run from 9am to 5:30pm. Day 2 will run from 8am to 12pm (local times).

How will it work?
Educators can register individually or come as a team. The most effective experience is when a school sends a team for each of the various conference role tracks.

Do I need to use CharacterStrong curricula to attend?
No! This conference is available to all educators. However, there will be intentionally specific tracks for CharacterStrong users to support more effective implementation.
