Virtual Field Trips and Community Connections

Join teachers and students from Paulo Freire Freedom School in Tucson, Arizona as they share how they modified their traditional week-long Intersession that normally involves a variety of community experiences to be a one-day virtual field experience extravaganza. Options included experience a working ranch, a virtual tour of the University of Arizona art museum, attorney guest speakers from Oregon and California, and a variety of art/garden projects. They will also share how they currently have in the works, a Virtual Marine Biology Day with events planned by their student council.
